FAQ
Portable toilets: common questions
Still have a question? Call (904) 955-2513 or email contact@wasteregulators.com.
How many portable toilets do I need?
Florida's rule (Rule 62-6.0101) sets the minimum. Job sites need 1 portable toilet per 10 workers on a 40-hour week with weekly service. Events follow a state table based on attendance and hours: for example, up to 250 guests for 4 hours needs 2 units serviced daily, and 1,000 guests for 4 hours needs 7. Try our calculator, and we'll confirm the right number with you.
Do portable toilets have to meet Florida rules?
Yes. Florida requires portable toilets at building sites any time workers are present, weekly service at minimum (daily at events), and the service company's name and phone number on every unit. We hold a Florida DEP portable restroom service permit (55-QS-4138908), and our units and weekly service are set up to meet those rules.
What does weekly service include?
Each weekly visit includes a full pump-out, restocking supplies, sanitizing and wiping down the inside, and an inspection so the unit is ready for the week.
How is job-site service billed?
Job-site portable toilets are billed on a 28-day cycle with weekly service included.
Do you provide portable toilets for events?
Yes. Weddings, parties, festivals and weekend events get flat per-event pricing. We deliver before your guests arrive and pick up after.
Do you offer ADA units or hand-wash stations?
We currently offer standard portable toilets. Call us if your project has special requirements.
